Go on an Aromatic Journey
Let this treatment soothe, restore, and bring balance back to your body and mind. This journey combines the power of pure essential oils with a specialized massage drawn from traditions of both east and west.
How It Works
Overall aromatherapy combined with massage can alleviate stress in the nervous system; bringing the mind and body back into balance. Since aromatherapy massage is a bit like Swedish massage but with scent added, people often get it for muscle- and joint-related conditions or for physical or mental stress.
Other conditions include:
- Digestive disorders
- Premenstrual syndrome (PMS)
- Back Pain
During an aromatherapy massage, you inhale aromas / essential oil molecules and absorb them through your skin. They promote beneficial changes in your mind and body by affecting the limbic system, a region of the brain known to influence the nervous system.
What are Essential Oils?
Essential oils are comprised of the naturally occurring chemical constituents found in the botanical that they are distilled from. The classification of esters, for example, found in Lavender and Roman Chamomile essential oils are both naturally sedating/relaxing and anti-inflammatory. Essential oils are not oily feeling, are highly aromatic and are much different than vegetable (carrier) oils.
